Quick Start

Get your First Line Done workspace up and running in under 10 minutes.

1. Create your account

Sign up at firstlinedone.com/signup. You'll need:

  • Your institution name and registration number
  • Your work email address
  • A chosen plan (14-day free trial on all plans)

2. Verify your email

After signing up, check your inbox for a verification email. Click the link to activate your account. The link expires after 24 hours.

3. Log in and set up your workspace

Once verified, log in at app.firstlinedone.com. You'll see the onboarding wizard which guides you through:

  1. Confirming your institution details
  2. Inviting your first team member
  3. Adding your first entity
  4. Running your first screening

4. Add your first entity

Navigate to Compliance → Entities → New Entity. Entities can be:

  • Companies — incorporated businesses
  • Individuals — natural persons
  • Trusts — trust structures
  • Funds — investment funds
  • Partnerships — LLPs and partnerships

5. Run your first screening

From the entity detail page, click Run Screening. The system will check against:

  • OFAC, UN, EU, and UK sanctions lists
  • PEP databases (Professional plan and above)
  • Global watchlists (Professional plan and above)
  • Adverse media using AI analysis (Professional plan and above)

6. Invite your team

Go to Settings → Team Members and click Invite Member. Choose the appropriate role:

  • Compliance Manager — full access, can manage team and billing
  • MLRO — Money Laundering Reporting Officer, can file SARs
  • Analyst — can create entities, run screening, process DD cases
  • Viewer — read-only access
